Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how EGR Decor ("EGR Decor", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit the United States pages of egrdecor.com (the "Site"), request samples, or contact us. It applies to the Site only, not to information we collect offline or through other websites.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Information you give us. When you send an enquiry, request samples, book a showroom or CPD session, ask for CAD or BIM files, or contact us, we collect what you enter in the form: your name, email address, phone number, company, delivery address, project details and your message. If you choose to receive marketing from us, we record that choice and when you made it.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, our servers and service providers record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, the date and time of your visit and the page that referred you. We also use cookies, described below.
Account information. If you sign in to a trade or specifier account, we record sign-in times, whether each attempt succeeded, your IP address and browser type, and important actions on your account. We use these records to keep accounts secure and to support you. We delete IP addresses and browser details after 90 days and sign-in and activity records after 12 months.
We do not knowingly collect payment card numbers. Where a payment is taken on the Site, it is processed by our payment provider, Stripe, and your card details go directly to Stripe.
HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use personal information to:
- respond to your enquiries and send the samples, files or bookings you ask for;
- provide, operate, secure and improve the Site;
- manage our relationship with you, including through our customer relationship management system;
- send you news about our products and services, where you have agreed to receive it (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by contacting us);
- detect and prevent fraud, spam and abuse; and
- comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.
HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We share personal information only:
- with service providers who handle it for us under contract: website hosting (Microsoft Azure), email delivery, customer relationship management (HubSpot), payment processing (Stripe) and analytics;
- within the EGR group of companies, including our related companies in Australia, to answer your enquiry and support our products;
- with distributors and installers in your area, where you ask us to put you in touch with one;
- for legal reasons, where required by law, subpoena or other legal process, or to protect our rights, our customers or others; and
- in a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Some of our service providers and related companies are located outside the United States, including in Australia. Where your information is transferred, we take steps to protect it in line with this policy.
COOKIES AND ANALYTICS
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use cookies that are necessary for the Site to work (for example, remembering your market, your sample tray and keeping you signed in) and, where enabled, analytics cookies that help us understand how the Site is used, such as Google Analytics. You can read how Google uses information at https://policies.google.com/privacy and opt out at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you block necessary cookies, parts of the Site may not work.
DO NOT TRACK AND GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL
There is no common industry standard for responding to "Do Not Track" browser signals, so the Site does not change its behavior when it receives one. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is nothing for a Global Privacy Control signal to opt you out of; if that changes, we will honor such signals.
HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION
We keep enquiry and sample request records for as long as we need them to deal with your request and maintain our business relationship, and then for as long as required for legal, accounting and dispute-resolution purposes. Account security records are kept for the periods described above.
SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections to the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
CHILDREN
The Site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
If you are a California resident, you may have the right, subject to certain exceptions, to:
- know what personal information we have collected about you, where we got it, why we use it and with whom we share it;
- access a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- delete personal information we have collected from you; and
- opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not sell or share it).
Over the past 12 months, we have collected the categories of personal information described in "Information we collect" above: identifiers (such as name, email address, postal address and IP address), commercial information (such as samples requested), internet activity information, and professional information (such as your company). We collected it from you, from your device, and from our service providers, for the purposes described in "How we use information", and disclosed it for business purposes to the categories of recipients in "How we share information". We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that would give you a right to limit its use.
To make a request, email us at sales@egrdecor.com or write to us at the address below. We will need to verify your identity before we act on a request, usually by matching information you give us with the information we hold. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we may ask for proof that they are authorized. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
California's "Shine the Light" law lets California residents ask for information about personal information disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
