Substrates in the Australian range
The substrate is the board under the decorative face. It sets where a panel can go, as much as the face does.
TruNatur is made on more substrates than any other EGR collection. StyleLite comes on MR MDF, particleboard and waterproof composite core.

MR MDF: the everyday core
EGR Decor MR MDF panels are made for cabinetry and interiors where durability, stability and surface performance matter. They suit kitchen and vanity doors, furniture, wardrobes and general cabinetry.
All are produced on MR MDF rated to formaldehyde emissions standard E0 or TSCA Title VI. Single-sided and double-sided configurations are available.
Waterproof composite core
The weatherproof composite core (WCC) replaces MDF where wet conditions would make MDF fail. It is 18mm thick at about 700 kg/m³, with 24-hour thickness swell of 1% or less.
It sits under StyleLite TruMatte and TruNatur for indoor wet areas, and under StyleLex for covered outdoor areas.
Waterproof carcass options
EGR offers three waterproof carcass boards. They trade off finish, rigidity and cost.
EGR's warranty treats carcass panels as internal use only, and they are not covered for UV exposure.

Balanced, double-sided panels
StyleLite and TruNatur panels are double-sided and balanced, so the panel stays flat. StyleLite sheet laminated in the workshop must always be balanced on the reverse of the substrate.
