Lustrolite is EGR Decor's high-gloss wall panel for shower walls, bathrooms and kitchen splashbacks — a replacement for tiles that looks like back-painted glass, with a hard-coated face that resists scratches and chemicals and cleans with almost no effort.

Lustrolite has a mirror-reflection high-gloss finish. The colour is permanently fused to a clear acrylic layer and is not affected by moisture, and a high-performance hard coat on the face resists scratching, chipping, cracking, warping, staining, peeling and flaking.
It fits straight over new or existing wall finishes, including tiles, with double-sided tape and neutral cure silicone — and it can be cut, drilled and finished with standard woodworking tools.

What is Lustrolite?
Lustrolite is EGR Decor's high-gloss wall panel for shower walls, bathrooms and kitchen splashbacks. It replaces tiles and looks like back-painted glass, with a hard-coated face that resists scratches and chemicals.
Can Lustrolite be installed over existing tiles?
Yes. It fits over new or existing wall finishes, including tiles, with double-sided tape and neutral cure silicone. EGR says it installs 3–6 times faster than tiles.
How scratch resistant is Lustrolite?
The hard coat rates above 8H pencil hardness under ASTM D3363, with over 90% gloss. Both figures are EGR's own internal test results from the Lustrolite data sheet.
What warranty does Lustrolite have?
EGR's Australian and New Zealand warranty lists Lustrolite at 10 years. It covers manufacturing defects for products purchased on or after 1 May 2026.
What sizes do Lustrolite wall panels come in?
Wall panels are 4mm thick, in 2440 × 1220, 2440 × 1000, 2070 × 1250, 2070 × 900 and 2700 × 760mm.
