Can a waterproof carcass board be painted?
Yes. The white ABS board has a smooth, paint-ready surface with a fine texture for paint adhesion, made for two-pack polyurethane coatings — so doors and face panels can be painted to match, or one colour carried from indoor to covered outdoor cabinetry.
How should it be machined and finished?
The waterproof composite core suits CNC routing, drilling and edge finishing; keep tooling sharp and feed speeds appropriate. Panels can be edged before or after painting. Acclimatise the panels before fabrication or coating, keep them out of direct sunlight and high humidity before finishing, and test the paint system before full production — your paint supplier sets the coating specification.
